This movie was pretty good with some amazing SFX and VFX especially in the beginning of the movie. You see a de-ageing Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and it looks amazing, I remember saying wow when i first saw it. Seeing a young John Connor (Edward Furlong) that was pretty awesome too, Also The T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) looking amazing. I would have to say the de-ageing on him in this movie did look a little better then what we got for Terminator Genisys. The new person now targeted for termination is a young girl named Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) she performed well but i think for me she did lack my attention and sure she did grow stronger thru out the movie but i feel that Sarah being there made Dani kinda faded her out and was just a backseat passenger over shadowed by Sarah’s presents. There is a new protector for Dani, a hybrid human named Grace (Mackenzie Davis) with enhanced strength hearing and sites she is someone you don’t want to mess with. She’s still human so when she’s in a fight with the Rev-9 her boost of strength is limited and without a certain drug cocktail it’s possible she could die. Now the REV-9 Terminator well once again liquid terminator with an endoskeleton. it can form solid metal shapes like knifes and stabbing weapons and it can split into two but i noticed when it does that it’s a bit weaker but at the same time a deadly team up that you’ll not survive. Now the T-800 does make an appearance as and older looking terminator sporting a beard oh and a family, this terminator mentions it’s gone rouge and knows SkyNet is wrong and for 22 years it’s been learning about humanity and his name is Carl. Now i mentioned SkyNet well SkyNet is no more because this carries on from T2 SkyNet is now officially TERMINATED. So the question is where dose this new terminator (REV -9) come from and who made it? Legion that’s the new SkyNet that’s not SkyNet but made a machine that has similar traits to other Cyberdyne models with the REV-9 skull looking like the T-800 skull but it’s hollowed out in-fact most of it is pretty hollow. So overall this movie is ok it has plenty of nice CGI and the action is pretty good too, I would say this is a movie you would need to watch agin to understand what’s going on but i did like it and there were some call backs from the first two terminator movies. So i would say it’s a good terminator movie and it looks like they’re ready to move on and possibly retire the Series 800 model 101.
